27th Lecture Event of the VFV
“Trends 2019 in the Field of European Food Packaging “
on 2 April 2019 in Aschaffenburg

The VFV Lecture Event took place on 2 April 2019 in the Stadthalle (Municiple Hall) Aschaffenburg.

On the occasion of the annual general meeting of the research association "Verein zur Förderung der Forschung und Ausbildung für Faserstoff- und Verpackungschemie e.V. (VFV)", a lecture event took place for the 27th time concerning topical issues in the field of food packaging.

Once more many qualified orators from various sectors of the manufacturing process, the refinement and the analysis of food packaging materials were invited. 

Our guests could look forward to informative lectures on the following topics:

The 150 participants were offered information about the current evaluation of food contact materials in presentations held by national and international experts on 2 April 2019 in Aschaffenburg. Against the backdrop of Aschaffenburg castle, the event also afforded a welcome opportunity for personal professional exchange with the colleagues present from the whole breath of value-added chain.

Subsequently, the annual VFV Association General Assembly took place. The President of the VFV, Stefan Glaab, presented the annual report for 2018. Further topics of discussion were this years' lecture event as well as the planning of the program for 2019 and the next VFV event in 2020.
