19th Lecture Event of the VFV
“Trends 2011 in the Field of European Food Packaging “
on 12 April 2011 in Aschaffenburg
The VFV Lecture Event took place on 12 April 2011 in the Stadthalle (Municiple Hall) Aschaffenburg.
On the occasion of the annual general meeting of the research association "Verein zur Förderung der Forschung und Ausbildung für Faserstoff- und Verpackungschemie e.V. (VFV)", a lecture event took place for the 19th time concerning topical issues in the field of food packaging.
We are pleased to have had won over competent speakers from various sectors of the manufacture, finishing and testing of food packages.
The following topics were covered: New developments in the field of nano-materials in consumer goods, the new Plastics Directive/Regulation (PIM) and the CEPI-guideline for paper as well as environmental efficiency ("carbon footprint") were also be highlighted.
The conference language was German, however, the presentations
were translated simultaneously into English.
